Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha commenting on each other!!!

There is news that Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha are in rivalry once again. This time the reason looks like little more personal. We have heard recently that Bachchan has taken his job as a blogger very seriously has posted a sharp comment on his website. The renowned actor has reacted to a comment made by Shatrughan Sinha over the nominations of a forthcoming award ceremony, which Bachchan supports. Sinha had allegedly stated that the award does not really have any reliability and it was all right that Taare Zameen Par was not nominated.
Bachchan wrote that he read a comment from his colleague and friend and neighbor, Shatrughan Sinha. It reportedly quoted his reactions to the nomination list of the awards, wherein he has purportedly stated that 'Sab kissika beta hai, ya kissiki bahu, ya kissiki biwi’, and the media adding their explanation to it by stating that Sinha's comment was directed to a particular family of The Guru fame. Bachchan added that he believes what is being suggested is that there is favoritism or some 'fixing' in the choice of the nominations carried by the awards committee. And as the report concluded, the indication was towards one family, not difficult to guess which one. He also said that he was surprised at this observation, especially since, during the time of the National Award selection for Best Actress in one of the past years, when the award went to Raveena Tandon, it was alleged that Mr Shatrughan Sinha's wife, the lovely and graceful Poonam, a great friend of Raveena's mother had recommended the appointment of MacMohan, the brother of Raveena's mother, on the board of the Jury (Structured by the Government in power - in this case the BJP, of which Mr Sinha was a Minister of State ) in order that he may cast his vote in favour of Raveena Tandon. If this alleged story is true then he values Mr Shatrughan Sinha's alleged statement of "Sab kissika beta, kissiki beti, kissiki biwi"
Getting a little more personal with Sinha, Bachchan also wrote that he has seen some very encouraging reports of the film, where his son is being introduced in the great Industry. May he prosper and succeed even more than his illustrious father and may he never have to face a slighted accusation of 'fixing', when his name comes up for an award in the future!! Not to be left behind, Shatrughan Sinha reacted to Amitabh Bachchan's allegation and said that anger seems to have taken over the maturity of an actor like Amitabh Bachchan and that is probably the reason he has overreacted to his statement with regards to Taare Zameen Par. He recalled his statement and said that he has not taken any names and there are a number of film families in this industry. He really doesn't know why he thinks it is his family Sinha is talking about.
When told that Bachchan has stated that Raveena Tandon got the award only because Sinha's wife is a good friend of the actress, Sinha said that is exactly the point he is trying to drive home. But having said that there is one point he really would want to make there and that was that he agreed his hand was there in the award, but it was not like Mulayam's feet, which was there in every award the Uttar Pradesh government has bestowed only on one family. And one can easily guess which family he was talking about.

Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose in Mughal-E-Azam!!!

Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose were shooting a romantic scene for Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam on the streets of Pondicherry when the crowds refused to let Mallika shoot in peace.
It almost became impossible to shoot the scenes with Mallika who was being mobbed by all her fans. No matter what the film's unit did to keep the crowd away, Mallika's fans just refused to let her shoot as they wanted to take a close look at her.
Finally, producer Ratan Jain ended up hiring almost 100 security guards to protect Mallika and keep the crowd away. Raan Jain confirmed and said, "Yes, it was a pretty critical situation as we were responsible for Mallika's safety. We did hire 100 security guards from a local agency to protect her."

Bipasha Basu’s Unforgettable Tour!!!

Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, directors of the Bachchan’s The Unforgettable Tour, is planning to take a legal action against Bipasha Basu for drawing out of the tour at the last minute. Wizcraft on condition of ambiguity said that what Bipasha did was completely unprofessional and bad. It's not just unscrupulous but illegal too. How could she back out from the tour after signing the contract? Bipasha was to accompany the Bachchans, Lara Dutta and Ritesh Deshmukh. It was quite shocking when Bipasha, who had attended The Unforgettable’s press conference, held in Yorkshire last year to promote the event along with Big B, Ash, Abhishek, Lara, Ritesh and Shaimak Dawar, suddenly hiked her fee three days after the release of her film Race.
When they refused to pay her that astronomical figure, she backed out. Not just us, even Mr. Bachchan tried compelling her but she didn't nudge. They had no option but to sign bigger actors instead. Though they were too caught up with the tour, they can't take it lying down. She can't take them for a ride, now they’ve decided to sue her.
The latest update on Unforgettable's is that Madhuri Dixit, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta have joined the bandwagon. When contacted about the plans of suing Bipasha for a breach of contract, Sabbas Joseph, Director, Wizcraft International Entertainment didn't deny the fact but said that she has no comments to make, she is too busy with our tour which has just got bigger. When we have names like Preity Zinta and Akshay Kumar who has the time and the inclination to talk about something petty. We have bigger and better things to do than to waste our time over non-productive and non-constructive people.

Mr. White Mr. Black

Sunil Shetty playing the role of Gopi in Mr. White Mr. Black arrives in Goa from Hoshiyarpur. His mission in this movie is to hand over an unbelievably minute piece of land to his childhood friend Kishen, which was his father's last wish.

Shahrukh Khan’s helping hand!!!

It is heard that Shah Rukh is helping his friend Salman Khan with his upcoming TV show, Dus Ka Dum. Shahrukh is known to be the television's most popular host in recent times. It is known that Shahrukh has just started working for his forthcoming film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. He has heard the script of the sugary love story, written by his close friend and filmmaker Aditya Chopra and accordingly have started working on the character. Usually he gets working in the car and does his references. Developing the walk of my character is very fundamental. If you have been watching his films, each and every character has a distinct walk and run. He has just recorded a hip-hop song along with Bappi Lahiri. He points out his different gaits in Kabhi Alvida Naa kehna, Chak De, Don etc.
The generous actor has also made a string of guest appearances in his friends' films - Krazzy 4 and Bhootnath. In circles where it really matters, the buzz is that Shah Rukh's item song in Krazzy 4 is pulling crowds to the theatres. But he has not seen his own song yet. He said that when he is doing a guest appearance he doesn't ask any questions. He likes to be treated like a guest on the sets and gives his best wishes to the makers of the film. He is not attached to it.
The actor doesn't take any fee for such friendly appearances, but Rakesh Roshan forced him to take his remuneration for the song. Shah Rukh elaborated and said that Rakeshji was very sweet. He said that if he said no, he would never speak with him again. Even Duggu (Hrithik) made him swear that he would not say 'no' to the money.
He moves on to produce his next film, Billo Barber. Director Priyadarshan and the actor had problems getting an actress to play the barber's wife in the film. After Vidya Balan and Amisha Patel begged out of it, Lara will play the part now. He personally spoke to both Vidya and Amisha. They were not too keen on playing a mother on screen. But he felt that today's young breed of actors shouldn't have these issues. If it's a good role, you should take it up.

Kajol's father Somu Mukherjee no more.......

Somdev Mukherjee (65), father of actors Kajol and Tanisha, passed away following a massive cardiac arrest on Thursday morning. Tanisha Mukherjee featured in One Two Three movie. Better known as Shomu, the filmmaker was discharged from the hospital recently after a brief period of illness and was also writing a film script. His unexpected death has come as a shocker to the entire Mukherjee family and actress wife Tanuja, who was inconsolable. "Shomuda was a wonderful person. He was very ambitious and wanted to direct a film later this year. His script was almost ready and he was about to start casting for the same," says younger brother Subir Mukherjee.

Earlier in the day, daughter Kajol and Tanisha, estranged wife Tanuja, son-in-law Ajay Devgan, niece Rani and her family rushed to the Mukherjee bungalow in Santa Cruz (West). Later industrywallahs including Shammi Kapoor, Karan Johar, Bappi Lahiri, Moushumi Chatterjee, Divya Dutta and designer Anna Singh turned up to play their last respects. The last rites were performed at the Santacruz crematorium in the afternoon.

The late Shomu Mukherjee was one of the directors of the Filmalaya Studios at Andheri West. He was a producer-director of films including Ek Baar Muskura do (1972), Nanha Shikhari (1973), Chaila Babu (1977), Fifty Fifty (1981), Pathar Ke Insan (1990) and Sangdil Sanam (1994). It was on the sets of Ek Baar Muskura Do that he fell in love with Tanuja. After a courtship of one year the two tied the knot in 1973 and Kajol was born in 1975. The filmmaker was particularly attached to Kajol, and was understandably thrilled when Kajol had debuted with Bekhudi in 1992.

Katrina Still loves Salman Khan!!

Katrina Kaif has brushed out all the rumors which made to the news that she and Salman were no more friends. Namastey London starrer Katrina today openly disclosed in an interview that she was in touch with Salman and was still in love with him. When she was asked about Mahek and Bruna, she also said that they are just friends to Salman Khan and he is just supporting them. Katrina also added that any more queries regarding Bruna and Mahek, it will be better to ask Salman khan than her.

Speaking about her professional life, she also disclosed that she has gained what she wanted and still needs to conquer the top one position in Bollywood. When asked about Kareena, Katrina diplomatically said that the letter “K” seems to be having a brighter phase this year and so ‘K’areena and ‘K’atrina are the two names which are doing great in Bollywood.

Katrina however accepted that Salman and she had a bitter phase for sometime after the incident which took place in Coffee shop, but also made it again clear that Salman never slapped her. But she agreed that there was a heated conversation between her and Sallu which resulted in some bitter terms for sometime.

Finally, Katrina reported that everything is over and they both are again happy together.

Amitabh Bachchan in Bhoothnath!!!

As we all know that Amitabh Bachchan of Eklavya - The Royal Guard, is playing the ghost in Bhoothnath, was anxious when he saw the rough copies of his role for the first time. Director Vivek Sharma said that Amitabh's immediate reaction was 'Kya yeh main hoon?' It was funny to see his shocked look. Big B seemed to have worked hard for two-and-a-half months to get under the skin of the role. The only difference of opinion they had was about the length of his hair. They wanted it long but Amitabh said that would be a repetition of the Jhoom Barabar Jhoom look. The long nails used to irritate him a lot as there is a special gum used for it. He had to keep it on for 4 to 5 hours but still he used to be very active after the shoot.
Vivek also said that everyone has worked very hard on Amitabh's role. They had used whitener so that the dead body looked natural. In the film it is shown that he has come after 20 years of his death and so his clothes had to look ragged. The final look has been given by his own make up artiste, Deepak Sawant. It was also heard that Amitabh used to take two hours to get into his ghost costume.

Ayush Raina suffered from a heart attack….

Ayush Raina, a thirty-five-year-old debutant director suffered from a heart attack on the sets of his upcoming unveiling film Mumbai Cutting. It is heard that the director was shooting for almost 52 hours continuously. The film has around 11 directors making short films for a single film together. They had a non-stop schedule of around 52 hours. Ayush had two sleepless nights prior to the 52-hour shooting schedule that included rehearsals.

His brother Kavir Raina confirmed that Ayush did suffer a heart attack because of the work pressure. He also said that this happened yesterday at about 4.30 in the evening in the producer's office in Goregoan. They were shooting at a small bar near Filmcity in Goregoan and since he did not sleep and hardly ate anything, he suffered a heart attack. They rushed him to Sai Sparsh a local hospital in Goregoan (East) where he is admitted currently. The doctors said that his condition is stable but he will have to be in the ICU for atleast a couple of days more before they can further advise.

Holiday trip to Miami!!!

Currently Bipasha Basu took off to Miami to join her boyfriend John Abraham who is shooting for his recently upcoming film, Dostana. Bipasha's arrangements draw closer on the heels of Aishwarya Rai's. As we all know that Provoked actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan are all set to go Miami for their wedding anniversary with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. They are just move out for their holidays.

It seems that the leading ladies want to keep their respective partners in check. Dostana will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule at Miami. Abhishek, John and Priyanka are going to be there till May 20. Obviously, Aishwarya and Bipasha are cautious of their partners slipping into 'almost solitary hood'. For the moment, both Ash and Bips are all set with their designer beachwear.

Sonal Chauhan starring in Mahesh Bhatt’s Jannat!!!

It is heard that Sonal Chauhan is starring in Mahesh Bhatt’s upcoming film, Jannat. Sonal Chauhan is the one who had come under the scanner in the Rahul Mahajan drug scandal. It was known that Rahul Mahajan and Bibek Moitra had a consumed a cocktail of morphine, cocaine and heroin. Bibek Moitra died due to overdose of drugs. It was Sahil Zarro who supplied drugs to them and was friendly to Sonal Chauhan. It was heard that Sahil Zarro made several calls to Sonal post midnight of the event.

Ever since that day Sonali Chauhan was on low profile. She was seen nowhere. There was a buzz now that Mahesh Bhatt is featuring Sonal in his upcoming Jannat. But it seems the directors were not aware of the fact. But now they say that she is not in touch with Sahil now.

Currently Sonal is shooting for a Telugu film. When she was queried about Sahil and her connection she said that she was never his girl friend and it is not true that Sahil called her 18 times. Neither did it happen that the cops called her for any cross-examination.

Deepika Padukone gets an apartment close by Ranbir!!!

It is known that Om Shanti Om girl, Deepika Padukone who was hunting for a house with Yuvraj’s mom has finally managed to get one with the help of Ranbir’s Mom, that is Neetu Aunty. Some previous rumors said that Deepika and Yuvi are seeing each other and Deepika is trying to get familiar with Yuvi’s family. Now the case is same but the person is changed. By now we all have the news that Deepika and Ranbir are currently dating and Ranbir wanted his sweetheart to stay close to him. His wish has come true and Deepika has managed to get a plush apartment in the lanes of Pali Hill.

This house of hers is just one hop away from her beau, Ranbir’s house that is Krishna Raj. Now same old story repeats and that is Deepika has almost become a part of Ranbir’s family. She has met Ranbir’s aunts and uncles and even his cousins. It is heard that Neetu Aunty is very much fond of Deepika and many a times they are seen together because of their bonding. She has helped Deepika a lot for hunting for a house near by.
