Sanjay Dutt’s gratefulness

Sanjay Dutt of Dus Kahaniyaan, who has many times been in the news for all the wrong reasons, also donates his time and money to various charities in the city. It was heard that on Saturday evening, Dutt issued a cheque of Rs 1.28 lakh to Satish Devkar. Satish is a peon working with a telecom company in the city, had to perform the surgery of his six-month-old daughter Shravani, who was born with a cardiac defect. The story goes that Devkar, who is a Mumbai Central resident, had recently approached Dutt and told him about his daughter's illness that is she had a hole in her heart and that he was unable to arrange funds for her surgery. The surgery involves expenses of nearly Rs 2 lakh and Devkar had only managed to collect Rs 64,000. Dutt readily promised help.
Shravani's mother Kalpana is thankful and cannot express gratitude to the actor enough. She said that Sanjay Dutt has helped them in a big way and they were very thankful to him. She informed that Shravani would be operated at Wockhardt Hospital in Mulund later this week.
Dutt, when contacted, declined to mention about his contribution. But his business manager Dharam Oberoi said that Dutt has always been a generous donor but he never talks about his good deeds. An employee of Dev Anand's wife is suffering from cancer. He had sought help from Dutt and the actor organized money for the lady's treatment.
The actor is one of the regulars of the Spastic Society of India, Save The Children and SUPPORT (Society undertaking rehabilitation for poor people), which runs a rehabilitation center for drug addicts, and also supports orphanages and old age homes.

Anil Kapoor a tuff competition to Amitabh Bachchan!!!

Anil Kapoor is having a successful second run at the box-office. It is heard that he is giving a rigid competition to Amitabh Bachchan. Real Kasauti!!!There have been quite a lot of cases recently when producers decided to choose Kapoor rather than Bachchan. Anil Kapoor said that he got back to the crush judgments that infrequent films will keep him busy. Luckily, he bagged the right screenplays; best directors and everything fell into place.
There are also some rumours that Aditya Chopra discouraged Tashan director Vijay Krishna Acharya from signing Amitabh Bachchan to play a critical negative character in the film and the role eventually went to Anil Kapoor. It seems that, Bachchan’s depiction of the modern-day Gabbar in Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag was one of the reasons why he was not offered the role in Tashan movie. Aditya Chopra felt that Anil would represent the sexual band in the character more effectively than Mr Bachchan. Also, unlike Mr Bachchan, Anil isn’t overexposed. Similarly, Percept Picture Company was insistent on making Johnny Walker with Kapoor. But director Shoojit Sircar took the same script to UTV Motion Pictures as he was rooting for Bachchan in the lead role. It’s a different story that Kapoor begged out of Percept’s Johnny Walker as Bachchan has already shot for Sircar’s film, which is now titled Shoe-bite.
Director Danny Boyle also casted Anil Kapoor as the Kaun Banega Crorepati host in his film, Slumdog Millionaire, which is supposed to release in October.
He is a good and flexible actor and he has been choosing his roles very cleverly. Recently we have seen him in Welcome, Black and White, Race, Tashan and Main Yuvraj is a great and wide-ranging line-up. He is playing an outstanding role in all these films. Kapoor's biggest asset is that he still looks young and fresh and he can confidentially carry off roles alongside Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna. His market value has certainly gone up recently. After bagging the role of the Kaun Banega Crorepati host in Slumdog Millionaire, he will be soon seen on television as a chatty host.

Saif Ali Khan obsessed by Kareena Kapoor!!!

It is heard that Saif Ali Khan is completely obsessed by Kareena Kapoor. Lately, Saif tossed a party in honour of Kareena, as he believes that his latest film, Race has succeeded only because of his Lucky mate Kareena. Saif invited a few of his and Kareena's close friends at a suburban five star hotel for a dinner party on Wednesday. The guest list included Bebo's two school friends apart from Saif's business partner Dinesh Vijan and personal trainer Satya, who also accompanies the actor on his outdoor shoots.
Even though the couple is exceptionally busy because of their packed work schedule, Saif planned the dinner party. He invited his and Kareena’s close friends to celebrate the success of his latest film. He thinks that Bebo has brought him a lot of luck in his personal as well as professional life.
The party started at 11 pm as Saif was busy shooting for an ad film while Bebo was shooting for her film opposite Salman at Filmcity. They opened a champagne bottle to celebrate after which there was a lot of light-hearted banter on the dinner table. Some of them had seen the rushes of Tashan and they were teasing the couple about their sizzling chemistry on-screen. Bebo kept blushing while Saif watched her and smiled.
And then last thing but not at all least was that after the dinner, Saif had planned a cosy candle light dinner for just him and Bebo. Saif is extremely happy with the way things are. He gives all the credit to Bebo for his personal as well as professional success

Subhash Ghai depressed by Black & White!!

It seems that Subhash Ghai is very much disappointed by the box-office results of Black & White. It is heard that because of this he postponed the shooting of Yuvvraaj. It appears that he needs to build up his strength back before get going his new project. Despite the fact that Black & White has jagged up plenty of dangerous approval it failed to make a mark at the box-office. It sounds as if, Subhash Ghai had a lot of hopes from the film which was not as dazzling as his usual ones but had a message to carry.
He pushed back the shooting of Yuvvraaj, which was scheduled to begin from April 14. Ghai was very passionate about Black & White and was naturally depressed when it did not turn out to be a commercial success. However, the reviewers liked the film and acting of all the actors were esteemed. Ghai wants to start Yuvvraaj with a clean slate and needs to get out of his present state of mind before he can do that.
