Race

Abbas-Mastan’s movies are always supposed to be thriller ones. Their latest thriller ‘Race’ is so much jam-packed with surprising twists and turns that after a while people automatically start to expect unexpected things from the film.
In an attempt surprise the viewer; Race keeps unscrambling surprise one after the other. It is to the extent that some time surprises mislay their surprise value and the movie comes to an end to be a thriller. Apart from all still this movie is a fine performer with good action series and a outstanding presentation from Akshaye Khanna. He is the man who is unloved by all viewers of the film.
Shot in the charming cities of Durban and Cape Town, this movie depicts the story of two brothers –Saif Ali Khan who is playing the character of Ranvir Singh and Akshaye Khanna who is playing the character of Rajeev Singh. Ranvir, shown as the elder brother, is a sharp businessman who owns a farm named Stallions where horses are bred for races. He is a brutal challenger and he doesn’t forgive anyone who cheats him.
Rajeev, who is shown as the younger brother is more interested in alcohol than family business. A fashion model, Sonia (Bipasha Basu), comes into Ranvir’s life and wins his heart. Conversely Sophia i.e. Nanhe Jaisalmer's Katrina Kaif is Ranvir’s beautiful secretary who is always struggling to get Saif’s attention, but fails.
And then there is the story going ahead……..
