Ekta Kapoor coming up with C Kkompany

Ram Gopal Varma’s interest with the underworld is replicated in his films like Shiva, Satya, Company, D and the forthcoming Contract. Lately, when Ramu happened to see the promos of Ekta Kapoor’s C Kkompany, he couldn’t stop giving his creative inputs.
The story goes that Ramu met up with Ramesh Sippy, Ekta and Tusshar’s uncle and head of Balaji Distributions, as Balaji Telefilms was distributing his film Sarkar Raj. Ramu was very interested when he heard that the promos of Balaji’s C Kkompany were supposed to hit the theatres with his film.
He asked Ramesh Sippy to show him the teaser promo and suggested some changes. Ramu suggested that the promo should look as if C Kkompany is taking on the might of D Company in the film. Tusshar loved Ramu’s idea and immediately incorporated it in the film’s teaser promo.
When contacted, Tusshar confirmed and said that Ramu met his uncle Rameshji and was curious to know about the first look of C KKompany. He suggested that the promo should make it look like C Kkompany is a new underworld gang, which is starting to make its presence felt. Ramu then suggested that the promo should look as if they are in the bad books of D Company because they are overshadowing it. He also said that he has made films like D and Company. Ramu’s point of view was that the film’s promos should make it look like three common men set up a gang, which takes on D Company.
He thought that his suggestion was very interesting and incorporated it in the film’s promo. The idea sounded like a sure shot winner to Tusshar as Ramu is very good with his promotions. Since it was a teaser where they won’t be revealing too much about the film, this seemed perfect. They will soon be making the other promos where they show more of the film.
Ram Gopal Varma also confirmed and said that he found the film very interesting and suggested that they incorporate the concept that three losers decide to make the biggest underworld gang in Mumbai. However, the problem is that the only criminal experience they have is traveling in a train without a ticket and the other problem is that they want to take on the D Company. That’s his input.
Incidentally, Ekta Kapoor and Ramu have also tied up to make Veerappan, a film based on the dreaded bandit.
